I saw this girl skating down Larchmere Avenue and snapped some quick shots. She stopped for a moment and said a shy "Hi." I wanted to say more, like "You're a really good skater," and "Thank you for letting me take your picture," but the moment passed.
The kind of photography I do means that human encounters, if there are any, are fleeting. I love the people, and the photos are a way of embracing them.
