Buckeye Farm Market

The Cleveland Botanical Society's Buckeye Farm Market is a remarkable development, a fully functioning farm growing fruits, vegetables and flowers in a formerly empty lot on Woodland Avenue. A bright high schooler named Aaron gave me a tour last week when I stopped for my weekly purchase of produce. The market, which seems to have earned a lot of regular customers, is open for business every Tuesday from 2 to 5:30 p.m.

I just love the urban farm movement in Cleveland!

The Final Call

Well-dressed gentleman who sells the Nation of Islam newspaper "The Final Call" on the street near John Hay High School in Cleveland. He graciously allowed me to take his portrait.
