A record crowd, estimated at 500,000, turned out for this year's St. Patrick's Day parade in downtown Cleveland, no doubt inspired by the summer-like temperatures.
Seeing the Elephant
This precocious, pre-verbal toddler was unbelievably excited by her first glimpse of an elephant, at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on an improbably warm March day. She chattered happily and did a clever imitation of the majestic creature.
